In all my travels here, and throughout this trip, I have learned only one phrase:

Te lo juro

It means, “I swear it to you” or “I promise you.”

I promise you my love, should you only return it.
I promise you my time, should you never waste it.
I swear to you my faith, should you never doubt it.

It reminds me how beautiful words can be, and how nice it would be if these things were so simple.

Part of me doesn’t know if I will be able to actually get on the plane tomorrow.
